Catherine’s walks along the coast are the stimulus for her work. Photography, observational sketches and memory all become the reference points that contribute to the creation of her paintings which are ultimately her connection and her response to this space and all it embraces.

Residency

I was selected as artist in residence in 2021 and 2022. As a result of my first residency, I also collaborated in creating a video of my working methods, ‘From Sketchbook to Canvas’.
